We are currently seeking an experienced:
STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Full Time
JOB SUMMARY:
- Prepare and record journal entries and ensuring the accuracy of the entries
- Maintain the financial reports and general ledger accounts while ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Researching and correcting account discrepancies
- Meeting all monthly and ad-hoc reporting deadlines
- Assisting with audits and other inquiries as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance, with one or more years of experience preferred.
- Proficiency in use Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Excel and other basic computer skills. Must possess accounting knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Must be detail oriented and keep information accurate and organized.
- Highly ethical with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.
